Patrick Mawire is Principal and is a Co-founder of Hepta Advisory Services Limited. His professional background spans over 27 years, covering work across Africa, the Middle East, Brazil, and the United States. He was until recently Tax Partner and Country Managing Partner for EY Zambia a big 4 professional services firm.
His expertise includes tax and transaction structuring, tax advisory and compliance, and business advisory services. Internationally, Patrick is recognized as a 'Highly Regarded' tax practitioner by the International Tax Review (ITR). This distinction is awarded in acknowledgment of his adeptness in guiding clients to minimize potential risks and to optimize their tax efficiencies.
Patrick possesses a Master of Commerce in Taxation from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. He is also a fellow of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is Chartered Tax Advisor with the South African Institute of Taxation (SAIT). Patrick is also registered Insolvency (business rescue) Practitioner.
Towera Temba-Nkanza is Principal and Co-Founder of Hepta Advisory Services Limited, with over a decade of accounting experience and seven years specializing in tax. She has significant international exposure, having served as an International Corporate Tax Manager in South Africa, enhancing her global tax advisory skills.
Her expertise spans international tax structuring, transfer pricing, BEPS and Country-by-Country Reporting compliance, tax incentives, and ESG strategies including carbon credits. Towera advises across multiple sectors such as financial services, energy, infrastructure, mining, and industrial clients primarily in Southern Africa and EMEA regions.
She holds an Advanced Diploma in International Tax (UK), a Certificate in Transfer Pricing Principles, and is a member of ACCA (UK) and ZICA (Zambia).
Mwanza has over 19 years of tax professional experience spanning banking, insurance, audit, and public sector advisory roles. Her expertise includes International Taxation, Risk Management, Internal Controls, and Public Resource Management.
She has proven leadership in complex tax affairs, notably leading Ecobank's tax matters across SADC countries. She currently serves as Vice-Chairperson for a Zambian Government Audit Committee, emphasizing accountability and governance.
Mwanza holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, UK, and a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, UK. She is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
